At thePropTrade, we understand that traders often travel and may use multiple devices to manage their trades. This is perfectly acceptable, provided the devices are exclusively yours<\/strong> and usage remains within normal trading behavior<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

To maintain security, fairness, and regulatory compliance, thePropTrade applies reasonable controls related to device usage, IP addresses, and platform access<\/strong>. Activity that falls outside normal usage patterns may be reviewed. The guidelines below explain what is allowed and what may require further verification.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Device Usage Guidelines<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

Trading must be conducted only from devices owned and controlled by the account holder<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

  • Sharing devices is not allowed<\/strong>, regardless of personal relationships.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
  • You may use multiple personal devices (desktop, laptop, mobile), provided they are not used by other traders.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n

    These rules exist to protect account ownership and prevent unauthorized access.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

    IP Consistency & Shared Access<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

    You may access your account from different networks, including home internet, mobile data, or public connections, as long as:<\/p>\n\n\n\n

    • Your usage reflects normal, individual trading activity<\/strong><\/li>\n\n\n\n
    • Your connection does not originate from a restricted country<\/strong><\/li>\n\n\n\n
    • Any VPN or VPS used is not employed to bypass geographic or platform restrictions<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n

      thePropTrade expects reasonable consistency<\/strong> in how traders access their accounts.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

      Using the same IP address as another trader does not automatically<\/strong> constitute a violation. However, shared access patterns<\/strong> or behavior suggesting non-personal use will be reviewed to ensure compliance with account ownership and trading rules.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

      VPN & VPS Usage<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

      • VPNs and VPS services may be used for privacy, stability, or automation purposes<\/li>\n\n\n\n
      • They must not be used to misrepresent your location<\/strong>, hide identity, or access restricted platforms<\/li>\n\n\n\n
      • Tools designed for location masking or IP spoofing are not permitted<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n

        We recommend using reputable providers and maintaining consistent usage patterns<\/p>\n\n\n\n

        Platform Access Restrictions<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

        Due to regulatory limitations:<\/p>\n\n\n\n

        • Accessing cTrader from the United States is not permitted<\/strong><\/li>\n\n\n\n
        • Accessing MetaTrader 5 (MT5) from the United States is not permitted<\/strong><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n
